Acknowledging the passing of Queen Elizabeth II

Ka tangi te tītī, ka tangi te kākā, kā tangi hoki ko au!

Kia ora koutou,

It’s with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We offer our deepest condolences to her whānau and the United Kingdom.

Ka tangi te tītī, ka tangi te kākā, kā tangi hoki ko au!

She leaves an extraordinary legacy, a reign of over 70 years dedicated to public service and duty.

Queen Elizabeth had a long-lasting relationship with Aotearoa New Zealand and was the first monarch to visit here, returning 10 times during her reign.

We mourn alongside the rest of the world and recognise her passing marks both a time of reflection and change for the UK and the Commonwealth.

Our UK whānau have entered a 10-day mourning period, pausing social media and proactive communications. We offer our respect for this silent tribute.

Moe mai rā e te māreikura!

Tu mai rā i runga i o maunga!

O maunga kōrero a o mātua tupuna!

Makere o kakahu!

Kia horoia to kirikau i ngā hau-kainga!

Haere, haere, haere atu rā!

Ngā mihi,

Chris Karamea Insley.
